Affliction is a Debuff in Halls of Torment.
It increases the damage taken from Elemental Effects by 5% per stack.
Mechanics[]
- The increase in damage taken per Affliction stack is additive:
- After Affliction is applied, the number of stacks is halved on every tick. Tick time is calculated as .
- Force does not increase its lifetime.
- This means that it is physically impossible to apply 100 stacks or more.
- If Affliction is applied at a rate of stacks/s on a single enemy, the enemy will have stacks on average (actual value lower due to rounding).
- Certain stats for Affliction can be improved:
- Effect on Hit Chance Blessing: Effect Chance
- False Blessing Trait: Effect Chance
- Cleric's Class Traits: Effect Chance

- Fragile is the counterpart to Affliction for Direct Damage.
- Prior to the update on September 5, 2023, the tick time did not decrease based on the number of stacks.
