Burn is an Elemental Effect in Halls of Torment.

Enemies afflicted with Burn take damage over time. It is distinct from Fire Damage, which deals direct damage.

Mechanics[]

  • Burn has a stack limit of 20. When Burn is applied to an enemy with 20 stacks, 1 stack of burn damage is automatically applied.
  • Damage per second is at max stacks, above 0.5 stacks/s.
    • When applying a constant rate of s stacks/s, the average damage is .
  • Burn duration is unaffected by Force.

Notes[]

  • Damage buffs do not apply to Burn Damage.
  • Burn performs better than Spark under the following conditions:
    • Below 10.12 stacks of each (), or
    • Below 10.37 stacks/s of each ().
  • Thus, Burn is better with lower Attack Speed, and against enemies with lower HP.
