Mechanics[]

There are 3 ways for Effects to be applied: Effect on Damage, Effect on Collision, and Fixed Effect.

Effect on Damage[]

The final chance to apply effects is affected by 4 factors:

  • Base Effect Chance: Applies to all hits. Each damage source has a fixed value.
  • Effect Chance Bonus: Applies to all hits.
  • Effect on Hit Bonus: Applies only to non-crits.
  • Effect on Crit Bonus: Applies only to crits.

On Hit[]

Effect on Hit (OnHit) Bonus is calculated by this formula:

Sources applying effects this way have their own unique mechanics and formulas.

  • Effect Chance bonuses do not apply.
  • Other factors may apply (like Movement Speed for Electrified Orbs).

Effect Chance Buff Modifies the chance to apply effects on enemies. For every 100% chance, one stack is guaranteed. This can be combined with 'on hit', 'on crit', 'on damage', and 'on block' chances.
Effect on Hit Chance
OnHit Chance
Increases the chance of triggering effects that happen when an enemy is hit. For every 100% chance, one stack is guaranteed.
Effect on Crit Chance
OnCrit Chance
Increases the chance to trigger effects that happen when an enemy is critted.
For every 100% chance, one stack is guaranteed.
