Secret[]

Main article: Secret

The Secret is a Hall gimmick which makes the Lord easier to defeat.

  1. There are 2 blood trails leading away from the Bloodstained Pages.
  2. At the end each blood trail, a Shrine of Pain can be found. One shrine has a large circle around it, the other is surrounded by three small circles.
    • If you locate the middle of a blood trail, follow one of the directions to reach the shrine or Bloodstained Pages.
  3. Each circle is completed by slaying a certain number of enemies within it.
  4. Once a shrine is completed, half of the Protective Pendant will drop. Both must be completed to form the full pendant.
    • The Protective Pendant fires a single projectile towards the first and second form of the Lord of Pain, dealing base damage equal to 50% of his max health.
    • Fragile increases the damage dealt by the projectile.
