Spark is an Elemental Effect in Halls of Torment.

Enemies afflicted with Spark take damage over time. It is distinct from Lightning Damage, which deals direct damage.

Mechanics[]

  • Spark has a stack limit of 20. When Spark is applied to an enemy with 20 stacks, it automatically ticks.
  • Tick time is scaled by a factor of 0.854 for each Spark stack.
  • Damage per second is , where x is the number of stacks, above 1 stack/s.
    • When applying a constant rate of s stacks/s, the average damage is .

Notes[]

  • Damage buffs do not apply to Spark Damage.
  • Spark performs better than Burn under the following conditions:
    • Above 10.12 stacks of each (), or
    • Above 10.37 stacks/s of each ().
  • Thus, Spark is better with higher Attack Speed, and against enemies with higher HP.

Trivia[]

  • Prior to the update on September 5, 2023, there was no stack limit for Spark.
