Game Mechanics
XP (short for Experience Points) is a value that the Hero gains within a round.
It can be increased in Halls by:
- Collecting Gems that spawn when Mobs are killed.
- Interacting with a Scroll/Tome of Mastery or Chest, then dismissing the selection screen.
Upon reaching certain thresholds, the Hero levels up, opening the Trait selection.

The XP requirement in a Hall to reach the next level is calculated by this formula:
